OUTDOOR BADMINTON LEAGUE
This new program offering is designed for ALL AGES to enjoy the sport of Badminton. As registration demands, we will split the leagues into divisions separated by (i.e.,) gender, age, experience or ability.
Each week of the 6-Week regular season teams will play at least 1 best of 3 match. Each game will be played to 21 points. At the end of 6 weeks, standings will be tallied and there will be a 1 day tournament to determine a Champion. This will hold through all divisions.
21-point game rules for all games.
Every rally results in a point. Service court is based on the evenness/oddness of the score of the serving team.
When the serving team loses a rally, the serve goes to the other team.
When the serving team scores, the players interchange court positions, and the same player continues as server.
When the score is 20-20, a 2-point difference is required to win, up to a maximum score of 25
1. Each match is best of 3
2. Each team winning a 21 point game receives 1 point in the standings
3. Each team that wins the best of 3 receives 3 bonus points.
